StageRelay

Privacy policy

Privacy policy

Effective October 2, 2026.

1. Projects, documents and contacts

StageRelay helps organize shows and save documents containing technical information, names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, lyrics, schedules, images and other files you choose to include. You can enter contact details or choose a phone number or email address through the system contact picker. That selection becomes part of the project; your entire address book is not imported.

Documents and recordings are stored in the locations you use for them. If you save a file in iCloud Drive or another file provider, that service manages its storage and synchronization. Exporting a document or sharing a copy may include its personal data and attachments.

2. Synchronization, SilentCom and devices

StageRelay exchanges show information between your devices over the local network, WatchConnectivity and iCloud/CloudKit. Synchronization between Mac, iPhone and Apple Watch uses your account’s private CloudKit database and includes session state, setlists, timelines, SilentCom messages and alerts, and identifiers needed to associate them with the project and its participants. Alerts may appear as system notifications.

Sharing a project over the local network requires accepting the request to send a copy. Live synchronization may exchange notes, lyrics, tasks, attachments and messages. Disconnecting does not delete copies already received by other devices. Connections to consoles and accessories use network or device information to discover and control them. Apple Watch can also connect SilentCom accessories over Bluetooth.

3. Community and AppIdeasBoard

These features use the public CloudKit database. Publishing a rider in Community sends the venue name and type, location, address, creator name, contact details, equipment, plans and other included content. Comments and ratings are also stored.

AppIdeasBoard stores submitted ideas, author names, comments, selected images, votes, dates, moderation status and edit history. It associates posts and votes with CloudKit user identifiers to manage ownership and permissions. Published content may be shown to other people; submissions awaiting review are also stored in CloudKit for moderation. Do not include information you do not want to share.

4. Location, photos and audio

With your permission, Community uses the device’s location to center the map and calculate distances to riders. A venue location that you choose to publish becomes part of the public rider. Images you select for AppIdeasBoard are attached to its post.

DIRecord accesses audio inputs to make recordings. The SPL meter processes audio to calculate levels and retain measurements. Recordings, projects and measurements may contain information about other people; review their contents before exporting or sharing them. The automatic technical support report does not include recorded audio.

5. Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. StageRelay uses verified transaction data, such as the product, identifiers, dates and access status, to enable features and restore purchases. The app does not request card numbers or bank details.

6. Support and diagnostics

Technical history is created locally. It may include app version, operating system, general device model, language, time zone, permission and connectivity states, free-space ranges, error codes and synchronization or document counts. MetricKit may contribute sanitized crash, hang and performance data.

Automatic diagnostics exclude show names, contacts, photos, locations, notes, lyrics, messages and audio, as well as network addresses, actual device identifiers and file paths. They are not sent automatically. Data leaves only when you choose to send by email or share and confirm the system action.

You can attach a project copy as a separate file. This option is off by default and requires your selection and confirmation. That copy may contain personal data. The configured support channel is jj.sonido@3db.uy; email includes your sender address and the content you choose to send. CloudKit is not used as a diagnostic inbox. This feature is not used for advertising tracking or usage analytics.

7. Retention and control

You can delete local diagnostics from Support and Diagnostics. Technical history has a configured seven-day limit, with cleanup while the app runs. Temporary support attachments are cleaned up on completion or cancellation, at the next launch, or through a 24-hour age check.

The existing support procedure requires deleting case email and attachments 30 days after the case closes and, in all cases, before exceeding 90 days from receipt; the project copy is deleted when it is no longer needed to resolve the case.

Files you save or export and shared copies have a separate lifecycle. Uninstalling StageRelay does not withdraw Community or AppIdeasBoard posts or guarantee deletion of copies in iCloud or on other devices.

8. Services and requests

StageRelay uses Apple services for storage and synchronization, maps, notifications and purchases. When you share data with an app, file provider or email service of your choice, that service’s terms also apply. You can read Apple’s privacy policy.

You can revoke location, microphone, photo, local-network or Bluetooth permissions, as available on your platform, in system settings; features requiring them will become unavailable. For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete submitted data, the existing support channel is jj.sonido@3db.uy.
