1. Controller
Juan José Palacios, operating as +3dB, controls data processed directly for RForAll, support, and web moderation. Contact: jj.sonido@3db.uy, Montevideo, Uruguay.
When RForAll uses Apple services, such as iCloud/CloudKit or the App Store, Apple also processes information under its own policies and terms.
2. Data we process
RForAll and Community
- Content you choose to share: RF scans, antenna data, annotations, titles, project names, votes, and other user information.
- Precise location: only when you grant permission or share content linked to a location. A public scan may include location so it can appear on the map.
- Optional contact details: name, email, telephone number, or other details you add to a publication or support request.
- Identifiers: CloudKit user identifier and the technical identifiers needed to associate publications, votes, blocks, or reports. We do not publicly display your Apple ID.
- Product interaction: actions needed to operate features such as Community, support, voting, and moderation.
Public reporting form
We collect the content type and identifier, reason, details, platform, and, if you provide it, a contact email. We generate a case number, date, status, and review deadline. To prevent abuse, we temporarily retain a pseudonymous identifier derived from the connection; we do not store the IP address in plain text.
Website and support
When you choose a language, we store that preference in a cookie in this browser for one year. It is not used for tracking.
The public site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. If you contact us, we will process your email and the information you include to respond. The private moderation area uses a strictly necessary session cookie, accessible only to the authorized moderator.
3. How we use data
- Provide scans, coordination, maps, learning, and other RForAll features.
- Publish the content you choose to share with Community.
- Prevent abuse, filter content, receive reports, block authors, and moderate.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and availability of the service.
We do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or allow third-party advertising tracking.
4. Public Community content
Share only information you are willing to make public. Avoid home addresses, personal telephone numbers, credentials, or confidential client information. You can delete your own publications in RForAll; you can also ask for help by email.
5. Providers and transfers
RForAll uses Apple iCloud/CloudKit to store and synchronize Community content. The website and its report database are hosted on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. These providers may process data in other countries under their own terms and safeguards.
We may disclose information when necessary to comply with a valid legal obligation, protect a person, or investigate fraud or abuse.
6. Retention
- Community content: while published or needed to operate the service, until you delete it or request deletion, subject to legal requirements.
- Reports: during review and up to 24 months after resolution to document decisions and detect abuse.
- Abuse prevention: up to 24 hours.
- Support: up to 24 months after the request is closed, unless longer retention is required for a legal obligation or dispute.
When these periods expire, we delete or anonymize the information through periodic processes.
7. Security and children
We use reasonable access controls, validation, minimization, and encryption in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security. RForAll and Community are not directed to children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has shared data, contact us so we can review and delete it.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, updating, or deletion, or object to processing, as provided by applicable law. Email jj.sonido@3db.uy. We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and may request minimal information to verify your relationship to the data.
In Uruguay, you may also contact the Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit. If you live elsewhere, you may contact the applicable data-protection authority.
9. Changes
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. If a change is material, we will try to announce it on the website or in RForAll before it takes effect.
